How does Psoriasis manifest on You?
Psoriasis has appeared on me in two different ways. I have it in my scalp and the itching is acute. I also have some spots of white patchy skin that itch on my hands. I also used to have bright red larges blotches on my arms and neck that cracked, itched and was sore.
People thought I got burned.

Mine started as a small hard spot on my knee cap in 2008. Now I can have flare ups that cover almost every part of my body. I have had it inside my ears and belly button at times. Constantly now on my knees and elbows, fore-arms, lower back and buttocks. I just finished a flare up that lasted 6 months straight with almost every part of my body affected. I have been about 80% clear for about 4 weeks now but I see signs of another flare up coming.

Mine started on my scalp and of course i ended up enjoying picking the scabs to where it became a habit. It would bleed and it would scab again. Well after months and months of this it was growing. This is when the doc told me it was P:/ Put me on Clobetesol liquid. Now i have it on my left eyebrow left nostril behind my ear and its all on the left side…this blows. I hate to wear black cuz of flakes or putting my hair in a pony tail. God i hate this!!!

My psoriasis started with just itchy skin and scalp. Then I developed this weird looking, VERY painful scaly patch on the bottoms of both my feet. These made it so difficult to walk that I went to the doc and was referred to a derm who immediatelt diagnsed it. I am using an Rx cream and an Rx ointment to keep it under control now, along with dandruff shampoo. I did have UVB therapy on my feet for 2 year and that really helped. I now have it in my eyebrows and on my R elbow also. PsA has also reared its ugly head.
Hope all are well and getting some control/relief.

I have white scales on my hands and dry skin on my scalp and around my ears.I aways just felt i had arthritis till i was told i had AS and then Psoriatic arthritis which realy effects my finger joints. This illness is weird due to you have time when everything is fine then you have a flair up which means joints get painful stiff and hands swell up skin gets bad looking .I must be lucky that it is mostly on my hands and scalp.Over the years i have tryed creams and other meds but they never have stopped the flair up.Winter is all ways harder on the skin.
